Henderson NCAA Tournament Endorses Bernie Sanders

(Coeur d’Alene, ID) – Following a grueling interview process during the Henderson NCAA Tournament’s recent winter meetings at the fabulous Coeur d’Alene Resort in Idaho, the Executive Committee announced that it had endorsed current Vermont Senator and five-time Olympic ice skating champion Bernie Sanders.

“We’ve all felt the Bern,” said Tournament President and former FLO-Max spokesman Matt Henderson. “Mr. Sanders was impressive in his sit-down interview with the Executive Committee. They asked probing questions. He said he’s very comfortable being probed.”

Mr. Sanders’ commitment to wealth redistribution and tax avoidance particularly resonated with the Executive Committee. “We’ve dedicated ourselves to those very propositions, year after year,” said Tournament President Henderson.

Both sides downplayed reports of a rift after Mr. Sanders briefly attempted to organize both his personal chef and the resort’s culinary team. Later, Mr. Sanders addressed attendees at the event’s general membership meeting, rejecting claims that he is out of touch with today’s voters and promising to address “the grievances we’ve all been hearing about. The quartering of troops stops on day one.”

It is not yet known what Mr. Sanders was endorsed for.
