A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

(Washington, DC) – Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, issued the following statement to commemorate the launch of the 2018 Henderson NCAA Tournament:

“My fellow gamblers, it gives me great pleasure, on behalf of Melania and myself, but mostly myself, to welcome you to the 2018 Henderson NCAA Tournament. This tournament – it’s tremendous. Simply tremendous.

I have been told, by myself, to me, that the only thing more crooked than Hillary Clinton is this great tournament. Achieving this distinction takes an incredible commitment to incompetence, sheer ineptitude, arrogance, and self-confidence. I stand in awe, even when I am sitting.

Working together, though mostly through my efforts, we will make college basketball great again. This tournament will grow. Its revenues will grow. Questions will be raised about its legitimacy. But I tell you – do not let them distract you. We will make this great sport great yet again. And, we will build the wall. And Kansas, and Kentucky, and Louisville, and maybe North Carolina – I haven’t decided yet – they will pay for this wall. Not the Americans.

So, for each entry into this tournament – each hard-earned dollar you fork over to the corporate masters of what was once just a child’s game – I thank you. Melania thanks you. Barron thanks you. And yes, even Ivanka. We all thank you – for making college basketball great again.”
