(Saginaw, Michigan) – Henderson NCAA Tournament Officials announced that Mr. Potato Head has accepted the Tournament’s invitation to address attendees at the Tournament’s 2021 Fall Annual Conference scheduled to be held in Boseman, Montana.
“We’re thrilled that Mr. Head has agreed to address the Conference. We’ve prided ourselves in being the leading gaming option for collegiate athlete-students, and our ability to bring top-shelf talent to our Conference furthers this standing. To say our ears are tickled pink would be an understatement,” said Tournament President Matt Henderson.
In a brief interview, Mr. Head (preferred pronouns chips/salad/fry) acknowledged being at the center of controversy – “I’ve never worn pants” he conceded – but pushed back aggressively over recent efforts to target him for cancellation. “I have a mustache. Some might call that a clue,” he said rhetorically.
Potato Head refused to address allegations that, according to Hasbro, he and Mrs. Potato Head were never legally married, promising he would have “much more to say after the fall harvest.”
